The price of installing a solar electric system can vary depending on the amount of power needed. Today, with Federal and state incentives, a small install of  a $6 per kWh solar system has come down in price to around $0.09 to $0.12/kWh. Industrial properties will require a different scale system than a small business. A small office may require a $15,000 system, while a larger industrial system may require up to a $500k system.

Many businesses take advantage of time-of-use metering allowing you to feed power to the grid during peak times (this is when power is most expensive), and to draw power during off peak times (when power is cheaper). A substantial portion of the cost can be paid for through government incentives.
